Panagora Launches 4th MEL Platform in Colombia!

Panagora is proud to announce the launch of Colombia MEL – our fourth monitoring, evaluation, and learning platform! We are leading the activity, in partnership with Management Systems International (MSI) and work collaboratively with the USAID Program Office, MEL Working Group, and Technical Offices to help manage and develop the mission’s strategy, projects, and activities in a fluid environment. Our staff have highly specialized skills and expertise and are poised to carry out monitoring services to improve performance; conduct evaluations to learn from activities; analyze research, assessments, and data to identify gaps in assistance; use geographic information systems (GIS) products to pinpoint impact; and facilitate knowledge and learning among stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

With four active MEL platforms, Panagora is at the forefront of small businesses leading these kinds of contracts, especially women-owned small businesses. Through our MEL platforms, which also incorporate research, learning, and adapting, Panagora is actively supporting USAID’s Journey to Self-Reliance (J2SR) goals by leveraging and building up local talent and resources. Our Colombia MEL activity is a prime example of that, with a highly skilled team that is 94 percent Colombian. At Panagora, we believe (and demonstrate) that small businesses are both capable of managing large-scale mission support activities and are also right-sized to advance J2SR approaches.

Monitoring, evaluation, research, learning, and adapting are critical tools, which help inform USAID program design and development. We applaud USAID for its dedication to diversifying its partner base and creating opportunities for small business to do this important work.

As we launch this activity, we are excited to work with local partners and stakeholders in Colombia and to support the mission as they create sustainable solutions to build in-country reliance.
