Performance Monitoring Manager – South Africa

Panagora Group, a woman-owned small business specializing in global health and international development seeks a Performance Monitoring Advisor to support the anticipated USAID/South Africa Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) activity. The PMA will be responsible for leading activities related to routine monitoring and evaluation. This will be a full-time position, based in Pretoria, South Africa.


  • Lead performance monitoring support to USAID and its implementing partners
  • Ensure indicators, evaluations, and data conform to PEPFAR standards
  • Develop and review monitoring, evaluation, and learning plans for USAID-funded activities
  • Ensure data quality
  • Manage the collection, reporting, and analysis of indicator data
  • Facilitate the review and use of performance monitoring information for adaptive management


  • A Master’s degree in public health, international development, M&E, or a related field
  • 12 years of experience in international development or global health
  • At least 5 years of experience working with PEPFAR-funded M&E projects
  • Ability to portray complex data sets in easy to understand formats
  • Experience with data visualization
  • Ability to obtain security clearance at the “facility access” level on award
