Cambodia Malaria Elimination Project 2 (CMEP2)

Cambodia Malaria Elimination Project 2 (CMEP2)

The Cambodia Malaria Elimination Project 2 (CMEP2) builds on the long-term successes of malaria control programs funded by USAID and PMI in Cambodia. CMEP2 contributes directly to the goals of the Cambodia Malaria Elimination Action Framework 2: A Malaria-Free Cambodia and leading efforts towards self-reliance and sustained, self-financed malaria programming. Under a subcontract with URC, Panagora is leading the integration of Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) practices and social inclusion and equity throughout implementation of CMPE2.
CMEP2 aims to:

  1. Detect, effectively and safely treat, and follow-up all malaria cases, and provide effective personal protection to at least 90% of the high-risk population
  2. Strengthen national malaria surveillance, monitoring and evaluation systems appropriate for malaria elimination and control and prevention of re-introduction
  3. Support malaria control and elimination efforts, particularly at the provincial and organizational levels

With its holistic objectives and integrated practices, CMEP2 is actively working towards creating a world where malaria is eliminated, health outcomes are improved, and healthcare is accessible to all, contributing to the betterment of our global community. Follow CMEP2 on Facebook for updates.
