USAID/Uganda Systems for Treating AIDS Nationally (SUSTAIN)

Panagora conducted a program evaluation of the USAID/Uganda Systems for Treating AIDS Nationally (SUSTAIN) activity. Our team examined the activity’s effect on gradual shifting to the Government of Uganda full management of the HIV/AIDS health services program. To achieve this, the evaluation team conducted document reviews, developed data collection instruments, conducted key informant interviews and focus group discussions, and analyzed data including network and contribution analyses. Key findings were presented as lessons learned/best practices to inform future PEPFAR and USAID HIV/AIDS programming for Uganda. USAID/Uganda Systems for Treating AIDS Nationally (SUSTAIN) was active in 2016.
