To qualify for the ranking, which is sponsored by American Express, businesses are required to be privately held and woman-owned or led. Panagora is proud to be both women-owned and led since 2011!

WPO is a nonprofit membership organization which works to “improve business conditions for women entrepreneurs, and to promote the acceptance and advancement of women entrepreneurs in all industries.” According to the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), only 1.7% of women-owned businesses generated more than $1 million in revenue in 2018, which is why organizations like WPO are so important.
